The idea behind my “misplaced” photography project is the feeling of not fitting in, of being out of place, and of mental isolation even when someone is not physically alone. In a world where we are all connected to thousands of other people at the touch of a button, people seem to feel more out of place than ever. My aim through this project is to put this feeling of being out of place into images through the use of space, context and subject, and some aspects that just don’t quite fit together.
